1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By booking an appointment, using, or purchasing any of our services, you ("Client" or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

Topside Detailing offers the following professional services:

  • Interior Detailing: Vacuuming, shampooing, steam cleaning, leather conditioning, stain and odor removal.

  • Exterior Detailing: Hand wash, clay bar treatment, decontamination, wheel/tire cleaning, and dressing.

  • Paint Correction & Polishing: Multi-stage machine polishing for swirl mark and defect removal.

  • Protective Coatings: Application of ceramic coatings, waxes, or sealants for paint protection.

  • Window Tinting: Installation of various window tint films (note: some may not be legal in all jurisdictions).

  • Vinyl Wrapping: Full or partial wraps for color change, accents, or commercial branding.

3. CONDITION OF VEHICLE

Clients are expected to disclose the true condition of their vehicle prior to service. This includes:

  • Any known mechanical, cosmetic, or electrical issues.

  • Previous repairs, repaints, aftermarket installations, or fragile areas.

If a vehicle arrives in heavily soiled or excessively dirty condition (e.g., excessive pet hair, mold, vomit, smoke, biohazardous materials), an additional charge may apply or service may be refused.

4. VEHICLES TWO YEARS OR OLDER

Disclaimer: Topside Detailing is not responsible for any damages (cosmetic, mechanical, or electrical) that may occur during or after service on vehicles two (2) years old or older.

Older vehicles may have pre-existing wear, brittle trim, weak seals, faded paint, oxidized surfaces, or compromised components that are more likely to be affected during normal cleaning or detailing processes. By proceeding with service, the client acknowledges and accepts this risk.

5. WINDOW TINTING POLICY

Topside Detailing provides a range of window tint shades and materials. However:

  • Legal Compliance: Some tint shades may not comply with local, state, or federal laws. We do not guarantee legality of any tint selection.

  • It is entirely the client’s responsibility to choose tints that are compliant with relevant laws.

  • By authorizing installation, the customer assumes full legal responsibility for any consequences (citations, inspections, removals, etc.).

6. WRAPPING SERVICES

While we strive for professional-grade installations:

  • Small imperfections (e.g., minor bubbles, edges, or seams) are common and normal with vinyl wraps.

  • We do not guarantee wraps will last a specific number of years as this is highly dependent on maintenance, weather exposure, and vehicle usage.

  • Wrap removal may cause paint damage, particularly on repainted or aged surfaces. We are not responsible for any damage during wrap removal unless gross negligence is proven.

7. RESULTS DISCLAIMER

At Topside Detailing, our goal is to deliver results as close to perfection as possible. However:

  • We do not guarantee 100% perfection in any service due to the natural limitations of detailing, pre-existing vehicle conditions, and material behaviors.

  • Results vary based on vehicle condition, age, and prior care.

  • We always aim for professional-grade quality and strive to exceed expectations within reason.

8. LIABILITY WAIVER

By using our services, the customer agrees that:

  • Topside Detailing and its employees, agents, and representatives are not liable for any damage, loss, theft, or claims arising from service on any vehicle, especially those two years or older.

  • We are not liable for malfunctioning parts or components encountered during cleaning (e.g., power seats, sensors, electronics).

  • Any service performed is at the customer’s risk, and the customer releases us from liability.

9. PERSONAL ITEMS & VEHICLE CONTENTS

Customers are expected to remove all personal belongings from their vehicle prior to service. We are not responsible for:

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal items

  • Items left in compartments or storage areas

  • Damage caused by personal items (e.g., phone chargers, electronics, air fresheners) during cleaning

10. APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS & PAYMENTS

  • Appointments are required and may require a deposit.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance or may result in a cancellation fee.

  • No-shows may be charged up to 50% of the service fee.

  • Payments are due at the time of service completion. We accept [insert payment methods].

11. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION POLICY

We stand behind our work and strive for satisfaction. If you are unhappy with the results:

Topside Detailing is not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, power outages, illness, or equipment failure.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available upon request or on our website.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state/province in which Topside Detailing operates.
